I have been planning for over two years to write a book about the solutions I have found to pain. There is simply not enough time to teach guitar to all of the people I want to teach, continue to produce all of the guitar instructional materials and aids that I have in my head, manage this website, manage my country life, and write a book on pain! I also keep bumping into resistance, due to the fact that I like to talk to people, hear their questions, and attend to them personally. After all, pain, like guitar playing, is a very personal experience! Presenting this type of information in only the written form feels incomplete and inadequate, somehow.

Considering all of the above points, I have come to the conclusion that the ideal approach is to schedule a series of conference calls on the topic. Each call will be one hour in length, and will be limited to 8 participants. Of course, I am always available for one-on-one consultations, but the conference call will offer an inexpensive way to gather a lot of information efficiently.

My focus in the first call will be to address as many causes of the type of pain you are likely to be experiencing as I can in an hour. In addition to presenting solutions to the most common problems, I will direct you to sources for further education or assistance. This is the call to get in on, if you have to choose just one, as you will get such a broad overview and will receive written material, as well. Because I consider this call to be so important, I will provide a choice of two different times for Session I.

Subsequent calls will delve more deeply into specific problems and their causes. Session II will be geared toward those who have muscle or joint aches or pains that are not limited to the hands and arms, and will deal with whole-body solutions. The third call (Session III) will be most beneficial to people who want to work only with the mechanical aspects of their problem as it relates to guitar playing, and will expand upon the information on the pain-free page of this website. Session IV will be limited to those who have already attended one or more of the previous calls and want to discuss information specific to their process.

When you register for a pain-free conference call, I will email you a questionnaire that will help me target your particular needs. I will also send you an outline that includes the topics I plan to cover in the call. You will receive an “800” number to call at the appointed time and we can have it all – plenty of facts and plenty of interaction! I hope you will join me. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
